I have never had any issues with tires like that and Dot has never said anything. From what I'm seeing in your photos they look fine.I would go with it and if your nervous stop every so often to keep checking them. When you get back at the shop ask them questions to ease your mind for in the future when you see more tires like that on the trailers you're pulling.
Thoughts on these tires

No i told them and they told me to continue on. Sad thing is i was at a ta when i called them and could have gotten the tires replaced right then. They told me to continue on. Good thing is i told all of them when i started that i record all my phone calls so i have my phone conversation recorded where they told me to go on wven though i was at at ta and could replace them right now

Op next time you feel you have bad tires, under no circumstances listen to your company and refuse to drive it till it is fixed. You're out there having to deal with it so you make the call whether you need to get it fixed not your company.I commend you for doing pretrips and being a concerned driver.

BOTH tires, on different axles, just happened to blow out at the same time 35 miles later?
I'd be having a talk with this driver, myself.pigeon river trucking, Toomanybikes, JReding and 2 others Thank this. -

Would you leave bruises or use a bag of oranges ?

This is the correct answer. As long as they've got tread, who cares if they're a little wavy. If you replaced every trailer tire that had a flat spot you'd spend half your week sitting at shops.Chinatown, pigeon river trucking, Toomanybikes and 2 others Thank this.
