So, you asked about tires, you were told on here that they were under inflated, you ran them and they blew.
You decided to go with a non training company and are upset that you aren't getting weeks of training.
You need to be with a training company. Plenty of us out here figured stuff out for ourselves, you clearly aren't the shirt to do that. Get with a training company before you kill yourself or someone else on the road.Jonkie Thanks this. -
Those tires were legal to drive on as long as the tread depth was greater than 2/32" all the way around on all major grooves. Assuming there was no other defects according to the FMCSA/DOT regulations. The reason those tires blew was most likely some other defect, like what caused them to get cupped like that, the most obvious of which would be under inflation. Did you check the tire pressures on the trailer before you left? Even if you did, depending how low those tires got before they were refilled, either by you or someone else, the tires may still have been irreparably damaged as a result of being run "flat."

@Kansasboy I'm not going to address the tires at all.
But it looks to me like you really are not ready to be out on your own in a truck. If there is any way you can do it, IMNHO, you need to go to a training company.
That being said, one hell of a lot of us had little to no training when we started. BUT, it is a different world today that it was back then.
One thing you have going for you, that you likely have not even realized yet. It sounds like maybe the outfit you work for is not um, let's just say one of the greatest. It may be a good yard stick to measure a company by.

Here we go. Everybody cries to get away from this company and switch to a training fleet.
BUT stay away from........ It just makes no sense. Is all that kindergardening really necessary? Why is a new license owner atomaticly a killer? Like Chinatown said he made it and so many others without trainer. Use common sense.
Use the tools available as a newbie, like this forum to gather information. Internet wasn't available 20 or 30 years ago when some of the now veterans started and made it.
I see the positive side of his initial question. He discovered something which he wasn't comfortable with and ASKED. Many of us here could not find anything illegal with those tires on the pictures provided and they still blew out. Technical failure. A trainer might have handled the situation different, but as long as there were 2/32 of tread they were legal.
Stuff brakes down while it's used, in our case rolling down the road.
My advise to Kansasboy: take your time, slow down. This isn't a race. The winner is the one who makes it home save, alive and in one piece.
Watch and obey signs.
Ask. .....I didn't know that.... isn't an excuse.
