    I’d bet money that your state has no record of if you had haz mat in the past or not .

    Have two friends who have just recently gotten hazmat.

    friend 1 did it before the law changed. Has been waiting for his background for around 50 days. Has an extensive criminal history from when he was younger. Has no prohibited offenses though.

    friend 2 waited to take his hazmat until after law change. Took an online class for 25 dollars took and passed test. Got his background check back the day after doing his fingerprints. He has no criminal history.

    Thank you. Yeah I got my doubles/triples and tanker endorsments the day I took my written tests including hazmat on 01/21/2022 and then did my background for my TWIC card and hazmat on 02/15/2022 and ended up getting my background back for my TWIC card and email saying they sent it in the mail on 02/23/2022 and got my Hazmat background back on 02/28/2022 and went in the next day to go get my new license. Way quicker than I thought it was going to take, but nothing on my background either.

    Nobody with a HM or renewing an expiring HazMat needs the Entry-Level Driver Training ELDT HM training.
