I see what you're saying. Police say that 2 eyewitnesses tried to help out, that means I was wrong. I am happy about being wrong in this case.

About a year ago, I spent the weekend in that Petro in Atlanta. What I normally do when I get to do something like that is sit in the restaurant and observe. 90% of the people I saw walked in oblivious to their surroundings. People drive the same way they walk. If you walk unobservant, you drive unobservant. 90%.

10% would walk into the door and scan the room. Fantastic! 3% walked in, scanned around and made eye contact with me. Uh-oh. If they made eye contact with me, they were looking for me. Why are they looking for me? Or looking for people like me. The majority of these, when they see you, will nod at you and go about their business. But a fraction of these will see you and get edgy. Why are they on edge?

 

Covid 19 is taking precedence. There are few other news stories coming through.

 

When you talk about conservatives and liberals you only bring about division.

I am a democrat. I believe people should have health care. Many years ago I was appreciative when I could recieve food stamps for me and my family when I needed it. I don’t believe we should let people ( children) live filth and go hungry. I believe education should be a priority.

I belong to no religion ( it’s just a another form of control), I believe others should have their religions with out persecution.

I have faith. I have faith in humanity.

I believe this individual that stabbed these people deserved what he got. I don’t believe that people should be shot in the back (with out good cause).

I own guns. I will not give them up easily. I will not give up my rights easily either, although it’s happening all the time.

I live in a “conservative” state. I like living here, because people are nice and leave me alone. I wish their education system were better though.

I wonder if we are getting to political?

What I’m trying to say is that when you bring politics in to situations like this it just demeans everyone.

Plain and simple justice was dealt by the police officer. It’s a darn shame it had to happen at all.

 

The division comes because your "I" becomes "We." Do your thing. Live your life. If you do your thing and live the life you choose to live, "we" should never come up in any conversation or beliefs of yours. As soon as you say "we", WE have a problem.
