Three Way Transport Illinois

Hello!
I recently found these guys on craigslist: Three Way Transport Inc

Has anyone heard anything about them? They are offering a really nice FedEx team job and the manager seems like a nice guy over email.

Question 2 - do trucking companies have an issue disclosing their DOT number? I tried to look for it on their website so that I could check them out here:

Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration

but I can't find it anyway. I asked the manager to provide it for me but he told me to just call him.

Am I doing something inappropriate by asking the hiring manager for their DOT number before I start filling out their application?

 

I don't know if they are LEASED to FedEx. But they are hiring for a FedEx team job and they only have 10 trucks. I could not find any info about the company on the web. They do seem legit - but then again you are giving away a lot of information on a job application. No stress doing that if you are applying to a big company which you can find plenty of info about on the web. A small 10 truck operation like this - I feel a bit uneasy without physically going to their location and personally speaking with someone, looking at the shop/trucks etc.

How would you make sure this is not some really good scam artist that will just use my personal details from the job application but a legit company that is looking for drivers?
