Three Weeks into Freymiller

Getting good miles but too much time on loads and can't drop early. Started driving teams with them same Problem, just got a 1400 mile run with 4 days to deliver and can't drop early. Never been late for a appointment.

 

I remember staying at the same motel in OKC near the I-40 about 12 years ago, a whole bunch of English, Irish and New Zealanders were going over to work for Freymillers on H2b visa's i'd heard the drivers only lasted about 3 months apparently they were upset cause they had no fridges in the trucks.

 

You have to realize that the customer sets the appointment times. Not Freymiller. A lot of our freight is "just in time" loads. The consignee used our trailers for cold storage. Its just the nature of the beast in the reefer world.

 

You can purchase a fridge from Freymiller to put in your truck. The shop will install it. Payroll will do weekly deductions to pay for it.

Why purchase one when you get one for free the rest of us went and worked for LW Miller in Logan Ut all the trucks I was assigned to drive came with a fridge with no extras deducted from my pay.

 

This might be a stupid question but once youve purchased the refrigerator, its yours right and you don't have to give it back when you leave?

 

I know I'm not blaming Freymiller, it just sucks
