Not to complain too much, after all the check engine light solved itself. Thanks for all of the suggestions!

I realize what trucks and their dealerships remind me of - '90's american cars and dealerships. Look good, almost work, a step off quality but going in the right direction. I hate to hear how fixing a truck under warranty and the dealerships costs. I'm not venting or mad I do understand. Cars were like that until Toyota became #1. Now bring your Chevy in and they smile and bend over backwards to fix it.

This is why it is important to have a good relationship with your dealer. We definitely treat our customers that buy their trucks from us a notch above the rest. And why shouldn't we? And, does the customer who bought their truck from us deserve any less? Simple matter of money, just like anything else on this planet. Those customer spent their hard earn money with us! In your case, if you bought the truck from us, we will take the time to find the problem because we take care of our customers. Someone who is just passing by will get treated right, but we aren't going to spend hours looking for a problem only to come up empty handed. It is frustrating for everyone involved. Some times with intermittent problems it may only need a tweak here or there of something as simple as a software change, but in situations like that we need the customer to come back to report how it went. This generally doesn't work well with a customer that is just passing through. If one dealer does one tweak, which doesn't fix the problem, but does rule out that for being the cause the next dealer can try something different. The problem is, warranty only pays for the fix, not the attempts. So the dealer that ultimately fixes the problem will get paid, the other dealers that tried to help won't.

I have been seeing aps terminals causing the engine to do all sorts of weird stuff here latley. You see app1 and app2 sig conflict or and low voltage. Tighten them up. I could never replicate it and drag didnt feel bad. Tightened them up and no more problems

Yep, the old pin drag test. It is amazing we don't find more of the these problems with the ever increasing number of those tiny, flimsy terminals.
