So i have been researching a similar problem to a truck i am involved with. One thing i can add to this is be sure that the TPS sensor has at least .3 volt output at idle or it will have a check enigne light for TPS voltage low and will cause intermittent throttle.

I had an issues with a W900 doing this exact events, the customer had installed the TPS, but did not set the voltage to .5 VDC, the screws on the TPS allows you to rotate the sensor some to set the minimum voltage output to the ECM to >.25 volts. Hope this helps, in my case at 0% throttle i have .4VDC and at WOT 4.4 VDC. This solved my issue!
ALSO, i noticed i posted this twice, i do apologize!DetroitDudeBro Thanks this. -
