Throttle position sensor on prostar

    Ok, very important for your next post is to mention what engine you have. I was under the impression you had a Maxxforce, but now I see you have a Cummins. 1993 is set when the ECM is not seeing proper pressure differential across the DPF. Now that you have your tube fixed, a good road test should make the code go inactive. It will stay inactive until you clear it with Insite.

    Once again HeavyD, you were right on the money. Pressure sensor tube replacement on my 2010 pro star with Cummins Isx code 1993 cleared itself with a good load behind me. Thanks for all you’re insight.

    I dont want to sound like a DK head, but, what if you banned anybody asking for help who doesn't have the courtesy to reply with what they ended up doing? Just my 2 cents...

    If someone was banned, it was for good reason. Banning people is up to administrators to do. I don't ban people because I am not an administrator here. You need to bark up another tree.
