Hmm, rest your heel on the floor so you can't push on the throttle as hard.

Is it a Peter gilt or kenworth. Sometimes they have sensitive throttle pedals, you just rest your heel on the floor and just lightly press it or the truck will buck and jump. Sometimes you can lift the pedal and clean the switch.

    BUMBACLADWAR Thanks this.

I was always taught to keep my heel on the flat level ground of the floorboard.

Oh well, sometimes when Im bobtailing, coming out of the fuel island,my tractor starts "Bucking like a Bronco" .No big deal, just pretend there is an eggshell under the pedal that you dont want to break.
