Duh. A ticket is a citation of complaint. Legally. It has to be answered at the Court House or a fine is paid (Pleading guilty) prior to. Those are written against the offender.
That's the driver who did not keep that brochure in crayon for feeble minded DOT man unable to play with ELD.
Some days I feel evil, I use cattle prod, fry ELD, so solly all burnt, here is paper logbook. -
Yes, drivers are required to have a malfunction reporting instruction sheet.
Midwest Trucker Thanks this. -
There are also rules on this forum about discussing politics outside of the political section. I understand that yall were comparing the legality of both being federal law, but discussing the enforcement etc, of the border wall is getting off topic & is leaning political.
Be vewy, vewy careful here.....
PE_T, Majestic 670, Tb0n3 and 2 others Thank this. -
If you are an owner operator, there is no excuse for not reading the regs about this and other issues.
ZVar, JoeyJunk, Long FLD and 1 other person Thank this. -
It’s not about having a chip or a master. It’s about having a brain in your head. Ticket wasn’t for not having a chip. Following the rules doesn’t make one stupid, weak or powerless. It actually makes one way smarter than most because they will not be on here complaining about a ticket/fines/CSS points. Pretty simple.

Another classic. I was speeding and the dumb offficer gave me a SPEEDING ticket. I hate cops!!! Screw the man!!!! The sign was hidden. There wasn’t enough signs. I didn’t even see the sign. We should band together and strike!!! I don’t want rules. I’m a man I will do what I feel is right when and if I want to. I want chaos and anarchy and that will be way better!!!!!!

Nothing to do with that. Again it’s simple. We are in a regulated industry that has rules. Follow them or face the consequences. Nothing to do with feeling good. Just common sense thinking. That’s all. I enjoy not having any tickets or points and not having to ask what to do when I get a ticket. And then having to hear about the evil DOT/FMCSA. It’s the boogey man some always seem to have.

Growing up my sister never knew when to shut her mouth with dad. I did. I enjoyed not getting smacked in the mouth. She never learned. It was simple. No backtalk. Why is it so hard to just follow the rules?
