Ticket in another state long ago, will it affect me obtaining a CDL?

    Wow, that is grimy right there! I don't know if I'd trust someone with that, I'm not sure I'd even have been so nice in the first place to switch spots.

    I'm still a little nervous about it, really think going for my CDL is the best thing I could do right now, and I've been weighting my options for some time, this isn't a rash decision or anything on my part. It would be a major letdown should this end up being a problem, and being such a serious violation that it was, I'd be afraid of being thrown in the slammer. I guess they'll find out when they do the 50 state check and I'll go from there.

    Hmmm, I don't remember what county, I suppose I could call all the counties along 81... might have been somewhere near Roanoke but It's all a blur to me along with a lot of memories from those days :biggrin_2559:

    Try to take care of it...

    If you report it to any company you apply to, and they refuse you. That's it. they refused you.

    If you lie that you have no tickets and they find out, then you have made an almost ten year old problem into a current one.

    But if they ask, "do you have any tickets in the last 5 years?" Hold your head up and say no.
