Or is it a regular tail at one end and the loop at the other? That i can understand
kylefitzy and johndeere4020 Thank this. -
One end is just flat like any regular strap, you slip it through the winch slot and tighten it down. Some trailers have a hook on the side rail that they'll hook into. They have other uses to for specific freight.

What i was thinking, equipment tie down hooks ect... but i believe the post was about double loops, (at both ends) that would be a crane strap
-
Where did you see that mentioned?
-
I made a assumption based on post 12. We all know what happens when you make a assumption. You make a ### outta u, umption....

Thought of another use for single loop 4" straps. (Actually know they are used for this) a rolloff trailer, they have a 4" winch dead center on the back, they use that type of strap to hold down on the clevis hook....
johndeere4020 Thanks this. -
The looped straps are meant to be used with trailers that have hooks for them. This trailer has hooked alternating with the fixed winches.
street beater, ChaoSS and cke Thank this. -
Thanks guys. I doubt I would use that because I'd be a lot more comfortable with the hook straps, or even the ring ends.
