Wolf: If you get in and out and dont ever hit anything, your doing a good job. The blowhards that like to brag about how good they are, i tell them show me. The guys that are good backing a trailer dont have to brag. We see how good they are when they put the truck in reverse. :biggrin_25514:

It doesnt matter how good or how bad you are, there will always be somebody be somebody there to talk smack. When I pull into a place and I hear one loud mouth, then my cb goes off. I dont care if I have to get out of that truck 20 times, right in front of everyone, I will do it if Im not comfortable.

We all have days where we nail that tough one with once shot, where nobody saw it and then can't hit a simple straight back at a truck stop

lol dont you love those, one night I spent over 20minutes trying to park, was a really tight spot and I almost flagged a goat to help me but I kept at it and finally got it in, next day I get to an even harder spot and its in the hole in 2 minutes. Later I try to back into a truck stop where there were 4 spots open and I got it in 2 spots and had to pull up a few times, very frustrating and embarrassing lol. I seem to do better when its a tighter spot or 1 open spot, im horrible at imagining a marker at times, easier for me to see a truck/trailer as a marker and get it in around it.

One night I watched a guy get out and put a red rag on the ground and made his trainee use it and park. Only seen people use markers like that a couple times.

and yeah black my backings are 100% accident free and I try hard to keep it that way, I have scraped an object turning however....

That flag is a fantastic idea! I had a yard stick that I painted bright yellow that I used for spots that were unmarked or where I needed a line to guide me
