I’ve gotten my wheel to tilt down similar to my pickup. Under the column cover you will see a spring that compresses as you pull down on the wheel. Inside that spring is a white spacer that needs to be removed. #### thing is pretty thick so I had to get a small diameter drill bit to make a bunch of holes in the spacer and some small wire cutters or needles to break it apart and fish tro

I have also done this few week ago, lot of finesse, that white plastic spacer hard to get at, used a combo of drill bits(small) and dremell, something(flat bar) or smal screwdriver to keep the puck from spinning or dropping(didn’t touch the clear plastic tube), and bit by bit out it went, happy with outcome, need to trim the top back cover, when down all the way it touches the lower back part of steering column.

Reviving an Old THREAD;
Today I decided to remove the stopper from my 2014 Steering column so I can have that lower tilt drop. It all started when I searched on YouTube to replace my OEM steering wheel to a 16” diameter. Seen some clips along the way to get that lower tilt drop, figured I’ll get to that on a later date. Today was the day, removed 3 column panels, drilled the white stopper in several spots, and chipped away. Done.
