You pay for convenience of it being in an onroute. The Wendy's at the maple Onroute really is taking advantage. Like $2 more for my meal compared to a normal store.Macneil and Dye Guardian Thank this.

Those OnRoute things are the pull-outs on the 401 right? I only saw the 401 once and was in too much of a hurry to stop anywhere.
Dye Guardian and Pullin2 Thank this. -

Have a large ol weekend !! -
Yeah, it was my first time in Ontario, and first time east of Dryden. Was delivering 5 lifts of lumber to a guy near Barrie and a cattle chute in Brussels, then a pre-load pickup in Harrow, and back to Winnipeg. Got back to the yard with 69.75 hours in six days.
The time change and early appointments had me up at 3 am (4 am terminal time) almost every morning. If I ever go to Ontario again, I'd much rather take something (steel) to IL, IN, OH, PA and come back into Canada for more steel on the way back than do that six day trek again. Was the most fun I had on the highway (and most memorable drive I've ever had), but exhausting beyond anything. -
I heard the steel dude. God bless the steel loads .........

Most of the on route travel plazas are on the 401 yep. Got a few on the 400 also.
