There is a stop light on US 231 extension and KY 60. They have yellow lights that flash to tell you it is going to change plus signs telling you that when the lights flash it is going to change. They actually leave you enough time to stop without having to slam on the brakes.

I loved them. But when I was driving in the city we went off the flashes. It allows you to look at other safety issues in the intersection instead of staring at the light waiting it to turn. I don't know one single gas hauler that doesn't like them. Try driving an empty 85' super tanker at 45mph and stop at a fast red light. On the old trucks you'd smoked the tires where people thought the truck was going to blow up. Now that ABS works it's better but nothing beats knowing when the light is going to be red.
