OK I just signed on to this site. And #1Don't EVER call a women that name. Let alone the safety director, that just tells me how you perceive women in general. Oh and did I say don't ever call Tammy W. (Oops i ment to say that) a ##### ever. She works hard at the job she goes, and you having a HISTORY would worry any company. And you can pass a drug test easily dude.and any reputable company would be just as Leary as ours in hiring somebody with a HISTORY. You called it? And what's a blood test gonna show prior to the test. Did u show that? Did u bring it? And I'm pretty sure they take a little bit too come back. But what intrigues me is WHY WOULD YOU GO TO THAT LENTGHS? Too have a blood test done? You must've been worried about something. RIGHT? And as per diem. YOU were told at orientation you didn't get it.plus you knew in orientation that you would be a contract driver. That you had to file a 1099. As for the deposit. Every since ####### drivers(your probably one...Oppps did I say that?...YES I DID) abandon there trucks when they just up and quit. I would be charging too. And I don't know any reputable company that wouldn't do that. I would, it would cost me money to go retrieve it. LoL and there hundred page orientation book. You crack me up. Sounds like you were a rotten egg from the get go......and you haven't ever worked for Covenant Transport have you? They have more paperwork than any company I've ever seen. So quit crying in your milk buddy. Ive been there the 1st times yr. Left for home on personal reasons of my own and came back to them. I've been here almost 2 yrs and they have bent over backwards for ME. and they treat me very good. .....So for you to bash them makes you a very insecure about yourself and your driving career. Signed Joy Campbell...Contract driver for Time Definite..(oops did I just put my name out there?) Well hell yes I did. I'm not ashamed to post nor hide behind any name ...ty and have a good driving career......Theu

It's really very simple, your "company" is skirting the law, or possibly breaking it by paying on a 1099 ( I would say that they are positively breaking the law but I am not a lawyer, or totally versed in labor law) The only companies that pay in your words "drivers" (that makes them employees) are 3rd rate outfits that will hire anyone with a pulse, as far as a deposit on your equipment , I would never allow it to happen to me. If you would have read it he said a previous drawn blood sample from the VA was tested ( but to completely honest I don't believe it, it only takes about an hour to process blood, so no way would they have it the next day.) And finally it's spelled meant not ment, it even comes up on spell check.

I have to ask why you are spending so much time defending this chicken scratch company? Lots of bottom feeders skirt the law, ( you're smart so I won't explain it) and stay in business by changing names, owners etc. but you know all of that, the bottom line is your company sucks, you spend more time trying to screw the driver than anything you do for them and that's why you can't find reliable drivers growth has nothing to do with it. What's your title, head of driver shafting?

Joy, would you give us the details of being a contract driver for Time Definite? This may help prospective drivers and set the record straight. To be honest, I think 1099 is in most cases a scam but here's your chance to prove some of us wrong.

    Lonesome Thanks this.
