I kind of like trying to find the logic in liltrkrbabe, first a post about being in business for 16 years then the next post says founded 1990 then mjd4277 post a link that says they have an mc# that starts with a 7 which means liltrkrbabe is somewhat short in facts and does not pass the sniff test

Seriously TDS doesn't have the best reputation out there (and federal SMS ratings proves it) and as a former resident of the City of Elgin I'm embarrassed by it.

I said I was a FORMER RESIDENT and I was embarrassed by that COMPANY,for the fact that this company gives drivers (and my hometown) a bad name,as there's enough issues with Chicagoland trucking outfits as it is and those of us who live or have lived in that neck of the woods don't want to be associated with it,to say the least.
(It helps to read/reread posts before jumping down peoples throats).

Beats me why somebody would work on a 1099.

Pros= none

Cons=. no workers comp, 7 1/2 ss loss, no unemployment ins, no health insurance, no labor law protection.
Hell yeah sign me up!

Most drivers I've heard of getting paid on a 1099 get into trouble with the IRS.
sooner or later .....
TDS is saving alot of $ by being your friend
....not trying to be mean here but trying to keep you out of trouble
...my advice is count the cost of hiring an accountin to do your taxes every 3 months and then see how this cost along with having your taxe $ being put aside
.....effects your pay check with TDS
...also think about the fact that if you get hurt on the job you are on your own
