Time does not equal money. Money equals money.

Babe Ruth was the home run king until he got knocked off by (can't remember), but he was also the strike out king. But we only heard about his home runs, little was mentioned about his strike outs. Point being......it all evens out, right ?

I never beat anybody up for that way of doing it but really if a person figures out really well the lanes they're running they can avoid ever having to book the $1.65. I say park the truck and I do it very often at the house. Once I leave out I don't sit anywhere out there, once a driver learns their lanes well they never will sit. If you book the first load nearby that pays $1.65 on 300 or 400 loaded, or whatever, you ain't never gonna learn the lane to where you don't book that.. I sat away from home months ago many times, I also thought about things and watched in those times. Don't know how to describe it. Like they say the averages work I just prefer to do it my way with more deadhead. Much easier to cut deadhead by finding new and better loads/plans and get a quick boost on your rate than it is to push cheap rates upwards......

A big thank you to those that are taking this thread seriously.... And to those who just want to play games and make jokes, well, it probably shows in your business. I figured it would be good to know what the best plan is when you find yourself in an area that does not have the best freight options.

My reply was serious. Time is worthless unless you do something with it..
