Don't peak and tune it, work on the antenna first.

From all the post i been reading on screwed-up CPU's on the 955, think I would leave it alone!
rabbiporkchop and stacks Thank this. -
Dont let wallcott touch it..Listened to a cpl drivers runnin across a wack of freq and when i searched them out they were on the far side of the iowa trk stop..It was way loud even at low volume and a lil hard to understand..
James j and rabbiporkchop Thank this. -
To take your 955 outta the box for the 1st time till done by a good tech who goes through EVERYTHING i think its 3 hrs...I think...Its a # thats stuck in my head for some reason..Its gonna be a solid hr for sure....Updates,tune both tx/rec,conversion and all that techy stuff i dont know but watched techs vids to see..

Twisting screws and following a service manual shouldn't take over an hour. Not sure what anybody would hope to accomplish by doing so, since it was already done at the factory. Cheaper to leave it alone.
roshea, handlebar, jammer910Z and 1 other person Thank this. -
Rabbi...Always room for improvement and "improvement" being the key word..
