I have a Stryker SR 955 that I want to get looked at would it be possible to have it peaked and tuned ,bought the Radio November last year from Walcott radio what numbers would I be Looking at for the work to be done And timescale if I was to walk into a shop .
Dont let wallcott touch it..Listened to a cpl drivers runnin across a wack of freq and when i searched them out they were on the far side of the iowa trk stop..It was way loud even at low volume and a lil hard to understand..
To take your 955 outta the box for the 1st time till done by a good tech who goes through EVERYTHING i think its 3 hrs...I think...Its a # thats stuck in my head for some reason..Its gonna be a solid hr for sure....Updates,tune both tx/rec,conversion and all that techy stuff i dont know but watched techs vids to see..
Twisting screws and following a service manual shouldn't take over an hour. Not sure what anybody would hope to accomplish by doing so, since it was already done at the factory. Cheaper to leave it alone.
Yeah there is but if you just hand it to someone without looking at everything else. Start with the antenna and perfect that before messing with the radio.
