I understand them standing up for their company ( ACT ) I actually commend it to be honest . However you can't call everyone lazy etc , just because ACT didn't work out for them . Example two truck sit at the same TS , driver one gets a 100 mile Deadhead and a 800 mile run with 2 drops . Driver 2 gets a 50 mile deadhead and a 200 mile run . The guy that got the first load - Drver 1 will be happy where driver 2 may struggle to put food on the table next week cause he now has 2 day vested in 250 miles
not making it at a company DOES NOT mean that your LAZY

I think it's great you defend ACT . I would defend my company . But facts are the facts There are more guys saying the short run and 1500-1800 mile stories than the guys that are making the 2500 mile weeks that's just the plain truth . If every LP guy at ACT got 2200-2700 miles every week they would never turn a truck over and would have a 0-2% turn over ratio . In order to call a driver lazy you must first put yourself in their shoes walk in them a mile or two and see if you'd be saying the same thing or singing the same praises or tune . Sure everyone can take 1 bad week or so that's trucking it happens sometimes you may even get 2 bad weeks in a roll . But to get 3-4, even 5 and end up negative 200,300,500 or more over time . Ask yourself is it cause the guy is lazy or maybe did he just get a bad break . ???

Another topic I want to touch on is this .. Everyone was quick to say he didn't have a mileage guarantee in his contract I think he said 2200 I could be wrong on the number . Question is how do you know that he didn't ? I can tell you first hand company's will change a contract for a specific operator if you ask them to , so how would you know it was not the case ? I can tell you the last contract I signed I didn't like some things they had in the contract of the way it was written and I was able to get things changed .. Why couldn't Tinman have done the same thing ? Maybe he did , and if he did what does that say about your contract or ability to negotiate . This is a business folks it's not a game you sign a contract with a company individually that's a individual contact they can be altered to fit ones needs ... I wouldnt be too quick to to call a person a liar or lazy

I don't think I called anyone lazy here.... I would call'em ignorant morons... Why? Because yes, people/companies have bad weeks (I should know from Schneider) but if miles are there and you decide to go home...well you're ignorant and a moron.

By the way, don't you have anything better than start and continue the arguments from behind the keyboard... You don't even know the guy - he gave up. You've never actually worked at Act...

But thank you for posting the last few books, forgot to grab the paper and needed something to read while taking a dump :)

Because if he had that in the contract he would sue them! Where's a copy? I have mine, where is his with the guaranteed miles? Doesn't ###### exist.

What in the hell is wrong with you? Is this guy your twin or something? Why are you defending him so much? He said screw this thread already.... I hope he found a good job and is working and not posting BS and wasting time.

Seriously, you sound like his daddy now.
