    One more thing.. i'm not leasing this truck so i can make more money than i have been.. I'm doing this for the most part because of the reputation this company has for the way they treat thier drivers..and then if i get lucky and end up owning a truck..well then thats icing on the cake

    Not sure yet.. They said it would depend on who had the least amount of drivers on thier board. I dont know them well enough to even have a prefrerence

    thanks,, Im gonna do what has to be done to make this work.. The rest is up to ACT but from what I see so far it looks promising.I have had the opportunity the past three days to question a few drivers that are in and out of the terminal.. I have yet to hear a bad comment.. That sure makes this process alot less stressful..thanks again for the well wishes

    Well hopefully tomorrow afternoon we will get a load and head home for Christmas..The only thing left on the schedule is a business class in the morning. We r being told by training to not expect a load untill friday morning and operations says we will get a load tomorrow. I sure hope it's the latter. we done allot of standing around waiting today made the day drag by really slow.. Be glad to get rolling. my opinion hasnt changed still really glad i made this descision..

    How many people were in your orientation class?I started with act thanksgiving week almost a full month ago and have had nothing but a good experience so far.The reason I ask is that the nurse at the clinic told me they usually had 5 or 6 guys every monday.There were only three of us that week,because it was a holiday.Thats the reason I went then because it only lasted 2 1/2 days and we were gone.Funny about the bus ride,I drove my rig up from TX.and left it at the yd,so I got some wheels when Im in KC.I dont understand how a 300 trk co. as good as act is,goes thru 5 drivers a week,thats roughly 250 a yr.I ask David this and he said it was mostly lease guys that make a little money and start staying home to much,then fall behind on the trk pmts and bail.Just really shocked me that so many guys could fail at such a good and fair co.that tries hard and treats you with respect.Best trucking co. Ive worked for. Good luck!

    If I ain't mistaking celadon also bought continental express a couple yrs ago then brought all the drivers to Indy and fired them also. Crazy hub

    You know I have often wondered that myself. I do know if I am not mistaken every driver I have recruited is still there. I do know some guys start taking too much time off and hen they want to blame the company when they start not getting paychecks. There was 3 in the class I went to.
