Slow week last week (holidays) only 1908 miles. Made $885 after all expenses. $250 of that was sign on bonus pmt.. Done only three loads all were 40k lbs +. I'm pretty pleased with that.

Thanks for the update! That seems ok. It's understandable that the holidays are shy. Since I've been driving (as a company van driver doing general commodities), it's usually pretty dead between the holidays and mid-March. It seems to pick up after then.

How's the ACT job going? Getting good miles? Any complaints? Thanks!

This venture failed. Not a big surprise.A couple former drivers told me exactly what woulde happen and it did(to the letter) I knew the risks going into this..Waiting to see how honest ACT is with my final settlement.. More to come..

The numbers speak for themselves we have hired alot of new drivers in the last 3 months and i mean alot. So to be fare i guess alot of good drivers quit . So alot of new drivers could fill there seats. There happy when they come aboard and there happy when they leave. Makes for good recruiting.

I will let you know all the details when everything is over.. The contract is of course designed to benifit the company. I have been getting weekly bills as the contract stated.. I was told I would average 2300 miles a week. I had two weeks out of 6 over 2000 miles. I went home every weekend (not by choice, routed home). I exhausted my savings trying to hold on and be patient like they asked..Then I talked to some company drivers that were getting 3000 miles a week while i was being starved out. That was the final straw. I averaged 8+MPG 100% on time never refused a Disp.. I dont know what the end result is gonna be it looks an over all a bad experience. I just want my maint. and &1000 escroll and I will be satisfied because they didnt give me the miles they said they would. That in my opinion makes the contract worthless in a moral court.. I done my part.

I didnt say anything about being happy.. Not many nearly broke people are happy.. There were over fourty happy people quiting when i quit... the trucks were in the yard to prove it..Just do the right thing and i will be on my way..ACT didnt hold up their end of the deal.
