Well... here's something to think about. Have you ever thought about yankin' a tanker? Most of our stuff is Midwest to East Coast/Southeast, but they do all 48 when loads are available. The tanker guys say the money is good- and it would get you out of that NE reefer mess.

I thought about it....until I seen a guy come to a fast stop and that thing was slammin back and forth... I can imagine what that must be like if he was on an icy road.

Actually, after I made delivery in gouldsboro, I was on my rest break struggling to get sleep and failing(blame on my mind going Mach 1 at the time)I was about to give a couple companies a call including the old one that was making the offer. Right as soon as I got up and did my pre-trip I got a call from my fm telling me to drop my junk empty at Pittston, grab a different empty and head west on a meat run. Definitely put a smile on my face, and gave me pause enough to

I'll do this mega- run and see in the next couple of weeks if this is a fluke or not, and see where things go from here. Definitely felt great to get out of the north east anyways.

From experience, you have to stay in front of the FM to get what you want/need. The more they see and hear from you, and not in a negative way, the better your runs will get. Hope this helps you.

Yep... a day before you go mty, I'd be talking to him about what is next. Got to communicate.
