They both do that and so does flying j. I actually saw comment cards in the showers at petros with the person's name on it that cleaned the showers and it asked you to rate the shower. This person had already marked the box for excellent. I crossed that out and wrote the following, "Next time let ME rate the shower, not you do it for me." and dropped in the comment box

In Portland, OR, there are over 150 topless bars...some have excellent food...now the girl that serves the food isn't topless...so is she not offering the full "compliment" of the establishment..and how much do you tip the fully clothed girl, and where do you leave the tip?

I know where to put the tip for the "dancers", but the girl serving(?)...I don't want to get slapped or tossed by the bouncer...could somebody help me out here before I get hurt? (this will be after the wife tosses me out for not tipping her of course):biggrin_25525:

Are you asking where you put the tip at a strip club? If so, you put it the same place you put the rest of it.

I'll tip when I get a tip for simply doing what I was hired to do

You ever wait tables?:biggrin_2556: Heck I got a $100 tip from a customer for delivering a load of steel to him that he wanted as early as I could get there. I got there in the time frame he wanted. Now that is a tip over and beyond what is expected, but people who get stiffed who provide good service and rely on tips from cheap people shame on you........

When they go above and beyond I'll consider a tip.I go to a restaurant to get food and drink in a timely manner.I expect the wait staff to fulfill those requests, that is their job.

Now if they come up and say "I sent your steak back because it was cooked wrong" that would be above and beyond.

Doing the job they were hired to is not.If they don't pay them enough get a different job!

Goofy employee's at the streakin beacon expect gratuity as well:biggrin_25512:Sorry I paid for a truck wash, not to bribe an incompetent hoser to actually do his job!

Tazz read his post. He said when he gets a tip for doing a job he is paid for he will start tipping. He sounds cheap to me. I tip, but the amount is determined by the service. Also they are not paid much they need those tips. That meal you are talking about they are not paid like you might think they are.
