Sorry to rain on the parade driver but it is there job to unload you. YOU don't get to decide what is timely. The receiver decides when they want/need your load.

No the contract they signed decides what is timely (2 hours).Yeah we used to be 1 hour but we caved this year and gave them an extra hour, however our detention pay to the driver went from $15 an hour to $20.Even our broker loads have that stipulation in our confirmation sheets.

So again the timely manner of unloading is their job and I ain't tipping for it!

All this because some drivers are to cheap to tip good service in a restaurant. People want to know why drivers are looked down on..... stiffing someone sure makes a good impression...:biggrin_2556:

I was at, Shoney's in Commerce, GA on my way down to the annual POW Days program at Andersonville NHP, GA ... I was in the back which was the former smoking area with two of my friends from college days.

I left the tip of twenty percent on the table and got up with my friends to leave. For some reason, I looked back at my table and there were some good ol' boys that had been sitting two tables away from us ... they went and picked up our tip along with the tips of some other people. The two on the sides hid from view what their partner was doing in the middle by taking the tips.

So, from now on, I HAND THE WAITER/WAITRESS the tip.

    JustSonny Thanks this.
