I'd need to see a copy of your broker/carrier agreement with them to be able to advise further, but that's some pretty shady action. What were you running the original load for, and what did they pay the second carrier? Did they provide that information?

What does your carrier packet with TQL claim?
While I have not seen TQL's, I seriously doubt that a company as large as TQL did not have a repower clause in their contract.

Real simple. Start a small claims suit to sue TQL. You don't need a lawyer either

The original load was booked at $3000, they paid the second carrier $3600.

So they're ganking you to pay for the entire shipment? They want you to cover the full $3600, effectively? Or are they wanting you to cover the $600 difference before they'll release the $3000 to you?

You actually believe them? Or did they show you a load confirmation? (That isn't worth the paper it's printed on)

They want me to cover the full $3600. Prior to my knowledge of this claim, I had completed a load with TQL. $3000 Invoice was submitted to my factoring company. But it was denied due to "potential claim". I contacted TQL to find out what's going on. That's when I was informed of this. So they're keeping the $3000 and expecting me to pay them the $600 balance due.

They provided me a copy of the rate confirmation with the other carrier that booked the load. Carrier info was redacted.

You are being played. I hope you get out of this as unscathed as you can.

No reputable carrier should do business with tql, for any reason. They have the only load? Then it won't pay anyway even if it does they will cancel or otherwise screw you over so why even bother. Don't worry, they will never stop calling.

So after it's all said and done learn something from it. Tql? Don't do it! Ever!!!!!

Yeah, I got nothin'. I don't know what your contract with them says, but as @gokiddogo says - TQL. Not even once.

Making you responsible for the entirety of the repower is a huge dick move.
