Tips and Tricks of flatbedding

Not that I use the ones that go in the stake pocket but a few of the temp straps I have wont hold any extra. I went to lowes bought some of the looped bungee's with the balls on the end. Fold the straps as normal and wrap it around main strap run the bungee through both ends of the loop. I have not had one come undone yet.

I use these short lopped bungee's


Strap tail folded and wrapping main and bungee holding ends together though the loops it makes. I do this on 2" 3" & 4" temp straps that don't have room to push thoughthe webing below ratchet. Should work on your stake ratchets as well save from going back over and keeping it under the main strap.
