In another thread someone posted a picture and link to a device used for connecting chain when belly wrapping, and there was one designed for straps as well. Google isn't being helpful, and I can't find that particular thread again to find the link. If anyone knows what I'm talking about and can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

Load choker a metal almost D ring, more like a C ring. I want them to, dont know if there legal in the us

Edit: I meant to put a ? after legal. If something has a wll on it is it legal? Does that wll have to be defined by a certain group? Just curious.Last edited: Jun 28, 2014
Naptown Thanks this. -
If I wrap a chain around something like bars I use 2 binders on 1 chain same thing with straps. I have some straps with no looks on them I wrap them around say a trailer tongue and pull both directions with 2 different rachets
Mattflat362 and zenaddler Thank this. -
It works ok but the overlap causes uneven tension if like me you dont have no hook straps, also i think they would be great for multiple unequel items, cant go over a 20" peice of pipe then over a 4' sump well, the 20 wont be tight and the both require difrent tension. So i have to go around the 20 underbite so the straps go under the sump, and strap over the sump, and wraping the 20 underbite sucks, never feels safe so i pin it to a few stakes with drivers side to drivers side and then 1 underbite choke across the deck. That just a example of when i think it would be nice. Granted most of the time all my stuff is banded and rather easy to strap id like more options when it gets goofy

A 1 inch or so diameter pvc pipe that's about the length of the width of the trailer makes a great strap pusher for going between layered loads, or for pushing up on a high load.
