Not a great pic but, On the top layer, the center strap goes over to the driver's side, back under the upper layer towards the pass side, then back over the top to the driver side winch. It pulls the upper layer together to help reduce movement on the inside of several bundles
I know right! I mean its beyond easy, but boooorrrrring! Load 48 ft, and slowly over the corse of 6 hours unload it at satellite locations.....
Do they look at you funny when you pull into the middle of the yard and try to get the securement off?

BOY am I glad to not be banging docks anymore. I was thinking about this thread as I was securing my load this morning. Driving a van it was seldom or never that I felt pride pulling a load. Pulling a flat deck I take time to be sure another flatdecker knows I did it right... ... except for three loads. Those I used the back roads at night
