I keep mine in a zip lock baggie, then wrapped in a small! Towel to keep scratches off. Works well.

I just clip mine to the visor right next to my sunglasses. They get dusty but the lens isn't touching anything so they dont get scratched up.

Need a good storage box to strap to the top deck of my double drop trailer.
Thinking maybe something made of polycarbonate?
    Good place to buy?
    Thanks!

Just went to Tractor Supply and found a couple of good options. One was a very sturdy carbonate box with a lock and handles that I can run a strap through $69.

What brand of tarp strap has everyone taken a liking to? Platinum is absolute garbage, but my JB straps have outpulled the hooks a few times and they'll bend back before the strap breaks. Been getting a good 2 years out of them leaving them under the trailer most of the time. If the platinum straps don't break with their first use, I'm lucky to see 3 months out of them, and in the winter they stay stretched out until they thaw.

I really like the Kinedyne brand. Bought a couple cases of them in 2012/2013 and still have most of them. They don't stay stretched out in the winter.

I believe that's what we use as well. 31"ers exclusively is what our shop supplies.

Hmm, guess I am in a minority. For tarps I use rope. Only carry about 25 or 30, usually 21 inch. Not sure the brands, boss gets them from the trailer shop.

I still use rope when I'm low on tarp straps. Have about 250ft in 50ft sections, shock cord, rubber rope, and nylon. Trailer doesn't have rope hooks, so I really don't like doing it. Wanted to get some J hooks with the two holes in them, but they're tough to find.

Most of the trailers do not have rope J hooks on them.
Most of the time I used heavy guage S hooks like these.
Order a box of them, think it was 100.
They work good, and you can put them any place you want.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.
