You guys hook your rubber bands different then I do. I hook them in the flat hook, then just pull them around. You don't stretch them as far then. I will post a pic tomorrow. Works for flat hooks and straps with chains on them.

Its for lifting concrete stand pipes for city sewers. They manufacture them in a small town near our shop. Most places that we unloaded them had actual professional rigging to lift them off. These are for just in case they don't.

How about straps winders? I've only got one of the cheap tee bolt on one's like they sell in the truck stops.

I just know someone has a better easier looking one. So let's see a good looking strap winder.

I'll take a pic of mine when I get hooked back onto the flat. It's homemade.

Here is the one I use. I bought it in a truck stop 6 years ago and it still works. Big enough I can even roll up my 75' straps.

My homemade strap winder. I would like to replace the piece of metal that hooks over the edge with a piece of channel iron that fits snug in the stake pocket.

I carry my pipe stakes in the front stake pockets of the trailer. I quite often have a couple pallets in the front of my loads. Just a little extra insurance.

Gentlemen, it would be a shame to have to close this thread, if you want to go back and forth with one another like children, do it in PM's or swap email addresses.
