Trygg S2000... much, MUCH lighter than the regular Tryggs and supposedly just as strong, or stronger. I have been using a set of singles for about a year doing oilfield heavy and Super-B work (I put a set of regular triples on the rear drive and the singles on the front drive). I have done a fair amount of roto-tilling with them and they are in very good shape.

Continental Chain and Rigging in Edmonton also has a house-brand that is supposed to be the same as the S2000s, but less expensive. We just bought sets for two more trucks but haven't had the chance to evaluate them yet.

With both brands you can get whichever cross links you desire. CC&R has a display in their showroom.

When I ran south I used V-bars and never had any issues running strictly on pavement.

Whichever you end up getting, make sure you have enough for whichever jurisdiction your going through; California's max. chain law should cover it (check Oregon too)... although being used to off-pavement Super-B running up here you'll probably laugh when they ask you to do max. chains.
