I remember hooking up a pup trailer backwards with dynamiters, tap the brakes on ice and watch them rear axles lockup and stay locked up for what seemed like an eternity. Butt puckering situation! Somebody replaced the trlr brake valve and crossed the lines.

I used to carry a small propane torch with me, which I know was/is forbidden, but I didn't care it got me out of many a jam. I can see in prison with all the muggers and murderers, lookin' at me, "what are you in for","carrying a propane torch in my truck". Shocked gasps and they all moved away.
