Tire inflation System for Truck

I might have seen a different brand product rhan halo.
Not sure

 

Did you ever get these installed? Been thinking about them for awhile now.

 

I did not. Freightliner used to sell them. I don't know who does now. I think the brand name is Halo.
Don't remember the last price I seen it was, but it was much more

Plus they only inflate when truck is rolling. Unlike the trailer system that adds psi full time. Plus the warning light.

I decided I drove a couple decades without them, I'll just keep thumping my tires every day for my last decade.

This is the new set up from them. Looks like you can get some kind of bluetooth thing that connects to them now.

 

Ever look into the Hendrickson inflation system? We ran it on our quad axle Western trailers at my previous outfit and I have it on my Utility reefer now. Has a shut off valve as well

 

Yep that is correct. I posted about one for the truck in another tread. halo is what it was called.

Not cheap that's for sure. for a tandem axle with dual tires their product page shows $1540. However it will work on a tractor, while the other systems used on trailers cannot be installed on drive axles, and their prices are even higher not including several hours of installation time.

 

$240 for covers
$50 for blue tooth
$4620 for all three axles.

that’s not including tax and installation. So let’s say $5500

Less work more sleep + less energy spent fatter I get.
