You really need to drop this subject YOU brought up with RR. Maybe the pixie dusted fairy tale works for you, but have had multiple brands of tires on in various combinations always buying into this bull **** theory. Guess how much my fuel economy has changed? None, not one bit. Do you really think that Michelin graph in projected fuel economy is dead on accurate? I mean, they are projections correct? Money is not in the bank based on those. Can rolling resistance compensate for irregular loads, irregular terrain, wind?
& before you go assuming that I am getting 4.25 with my blocks of granite XDN2's, am averaging closer to 7.2 pulling a high mount car trailer.
Michelin XZA3+ Steers - XDN2 Drives & R250 Bridgestone Trailer tires.
This is nothing personal & to each their own, but the channel definitely needs changed from the K. Rutherford rolling resistance garbage.
However, you did hit on one thing above about the 80 psi. Have never had DOT check my air pressures on anything, but they are the reason I have always kept 100 psi in the drives, 105 steers(16 ply) & 110 in the trailer(trailer runs 19.5" tires).

If the manufacturer recommends 80 psi for a given load, it seems to me that adhering to that recommendation does not mean the tire is under inflated. Quite the contrary actually.

Oh good, you're back on line. Now please provide a link to substantiate your statement about "low psi" in XDN2 specifically. Thank you.

If you girls keep arguing I'm going to get PSI'ed.

Sorry but that's not good enough. You SPECIFICALLY mentioned XDN2 in your claim. Now show me.

Just post a link. Help a fellow driver correct his error. Do it politely without the BS. If you're getting multiple warnings , maybe you need to change your approach.
Now where is the link, driver?not4hire Thanks this. -
