The 1st picture is what's on my truck now, the low pro's. I ordered 4 and they sent me what's in the 2nd picture. And these tires look extra tall.......

Just put a set of Endurance tall 24s on my steer axle with two new aluminum alcoas. So nice of Goodyear to raise the price on them after denying me access to the Marathons. Greed and Capitalism are synonymous these days it seems.

So, is the height the main/only difference between the Lo pro and the one they mistakenly sent?

I prefer the added height for clearance at jobsites and steep warehouse ramps but they also ride better. Looks are better too IMO. I even run a 16 ply H rated tire on the steer so I don't have to put so much air in them. Helps tremendously with ride quality and you have the option to fill them up to a full 120 if you want to carry over 12k on that axle.

Yes, though the tread depth will also sometimes be deeper.

The problem you will experience shifting to talls is that you need to reprogram ecm and tell odometer/speedometer the difference, it will also alter your shift points, essentially giving you taller gearing, so it will make you go faster at the same rpm and gear as you had on 24.5 shorts. This MAY be a problem, it may be a godsend for you

Lastly, with 4x24.5 talls and 4x24.5 shorts, it will massively mess with your drive-line angles and actual ability to carry a load distributed on the drives, locking your diff will destroy one set of tires, since theres about a 5-7 % difference in the rotation vs distance traveled.

It may mess with your drive-line angle because your steers are probably 24.5 shorts as well.

All in all, make a full switch, or send em back

I've got 1 bad super single on the right rear I'd like to replace. What is the most difference in tread depth I can go without causing problems?
