Time for new rear tires . Does it hurt to run 24.5 on rear and 22.5 on the front . Reason being I pull Rgn and need the extra height in the rear and just put the new steers on . Just trying to save a few dollars for now
Tire size

I doubt it will make much difference, I've seen it the other way using larger tires on the front to get more weight carrying capacity.
-
OD is more important than rim size.
The real issue comes when the steers wear you can not move them to the rear or the trailer. -
you will be alright, but i'll have to tease you about runnin down hill all the time!
-
never use different tires on tandem drive axes.

Thanks I will go to bigger on the front just put new tires on don't want to have to buy again and got a good deal on the 24.5 for the rear

I wouldn't run a smaller diameter tire on the front but would run 11/22.5's in the steer and LP 22.5 or 24.5's in the rear.
