What kind of genius try’s to pop a 16 ply truck tire with 100 pounds of air in it? That could literally be deadly idea.

Happened to me on I75 exit 314 in florida, just north of tampa. All 18 tires. The holes were so small that a lot of shops didn’t find the leak or the lazy workers did not want to believe me. Spent a week changing tires because every morning i woke up with flats. It cost the company a lot of money. If it would’ve been an OO. 12k worth of tires is a killer hit.

We had a guy here on the sandbar who did this to tourists with Jeeps.

He'd go to beach accesses and slash the tires. They caught him red handed. Old dude to. Like 68. He used to live in my neighborhood, one of my neighbors knew him. He got jail time for it, but I think they let him out on medical grounds. This was..2019 or so.

    Weird dude all around.

Probably the same guy that the TalkCDL podcast calls the "ice pick bandit". He's hit all over the southeast, mostly along I-75. Evidently he's still going and broadened his horizons to many states now.

Hard to believe he hasn't been caught yet. He's easily racked up a million dollars in damages. If we're counting downtime, even more than that..

There were new reports and grainy CCTV footage on one of their episodes from just a couple weeks ago. It's like Sasquatch, but not as cool, and less beef jerky.

i just wonder why does he do it? Did a truck driver kill his family or something. I hope the fbi or whatever alphabet agency is in charge of this catches up to him.

I would have thought a cordless drill and small bit. Seen this in the early 90's around steel mills in Ohio. Mega's coming in with cut throut rates , they'd get tires ,and fuel tanks drilled at the nearby truck stops.

Regardless of any reason why he may be doing it, I hope he gets caught by the wrong person.
