OK, I need some help because I’m getting tired of soaking ####ing money into this ####### truck so I recently just got my passenger side steer tire replaced probably a couple weeks after getting the driver side done but now my driver side hood mirror is shaking to death like it’s gonna fall the hell off my tire is already starting to wear. It shakes at 68 to 75 miles an hour. I’ve already got a front end alignment done. Both of them have been balanced even Put beads in the tires. I also have the Centro-Matic thing I don’t know what else could be the issue. I do know that my passenger side wheel is requiring 16 ounces of weight whether it’s an old tire or a new tire it’s always 16 ounces of weight so I know that wheel probably needs to be replaced, but what is causing the air on my driver side because it was completely fine until I changed the passenger side

We run beads and steers always shake especially when first starting out or in cold weather . The few trucks that they gave up on beads and did a old fashioned tire balance plus balancers don’t shake . Boss is too sold on beads . I think that moisture gets inside from big temperature swings and beads stick in one spot .

.... what he said along with did you check upper / lower bushings on tie rods ? Had a slight bend in one long ago and was fine at low speed but would shake crazy at higher speeds . ( slight bend in the bar and it starts affecting other stuff )

If you have time / take a level or yard stick and place along the crossover bar underneath , 12 oclock , 3, 6, 9 and it will show up , also spray off the upper and lower really good and look for cracks or spilts . Mine was resting on a crack and it took forever to find it .

I am assuming that they checked your king pins when they did the alignment. Did you get a three axle alignment or just the steering axle?

If the wheel always take 16 ounces of weight regardless of the tire replace the wheel. Personally I would not put beads in it, i chased a vibration for a while that turned out to be beads . Centromatics and balancing should be perfect. That wheel is probably bent.

You can’t run beads and Centramatics. They will work against each other.
