I did the same here in Gary, IN at the T/A last year. I needed a set of drives and the shop manager said he could put me on a set of Yoko's for $2100 out the door. All I had to do was walk over to the burger joint across and buy the guys some burgers. I did, and got my tires at a great deal, all 8 mounted and balanced and otd for $2100 :)

slabrunner and Big John Thank this.

I had kelly steers & they bounced my eyeballs outta my head. went to b.f. st244 & a world of difference for the better. been with the b.f.'s ever since. I have kelly kda lugs now. they last long, but high r.r. & you cannot get a smooth ride with them. i.m.o.

Well that's a heck of a lot better than $2850 for 8 drives guess I got burned $3250 for all 10 or maybe inflation is that bad in a years time..

Well, he kind of screwed up. He told me that price for the tires he showed me, which were Yoko's, but when he got on the cpu, it was supposed to be that price for the Geostar China crap tires, so he gave me the price on the Yokos since that's what he quoted me. I also called them about a set of 8 drives for the new Peterbilt and it was close to $3000!

Well I stopped at the Loves in Blacksburg Sunday and had them throw on a couple BF 244 and it might have been the way the michelins was worn and the fact that when I had the centralmatics installed that they didnt take the 5lbs of weight off but the front end rides better now

Both my Firestone FS590Plus tires balanced at ZERO. I still installed the Centramatics. I do NOT miss my Michelins one bit. :biggrin_25525:

I cannot remember the price, but loves in my area has the yoko's on sale. I like the ad price cause it had the total bottom line what you pay. not add on later f.e.t. tax, dismount/mount e.t.c. they have the centramatics too.

    Bigray Thanks this.
