Hmm, seems like most of us doing HH are going to the XDN2's have over 100,000 on mine and they are still over 50%

I agree with heavy hammer. That's what I run in Canadian winters and there's nothing better.

I have never been impressed with Michelins. Overrated and overpriced. Work with your local dealer to find the right Conti or Bridgestone tread design for your precise application. Always had good experience with Continntals and Generals myself. And they don't break the bank.

425/65/22.5, XZY3 Michelins, 110#'s pressure. Good mileage tire, swap out at 100k and put on lift axle.
Was told by national tire dealer shoulder wear was from the physic's of the tire at freeway speed, can't prevent it.
And believe it or not, another very good tire of this type/size is a Firestone. Won a set as a prize, long story, but tried them and was really impressed with mileage and wear pattern compared to Michelin dollar for dollar probably better deal, just hard to find out on the road.
Michelin XDE-ms on drives, hands down best for off road/hi way. JMHO -
