I'm not sure what your point or where you are going with this conversation BUT it is not necessary. Your a fairly new member in this community. I would suggest try keeping the peace with other members.
For flat bedding, get yourself an 8 foot ladder. That climbing around on the trailer is for the birds. Chain the ladder to the headache rack for storage. Padlock it also.
frdr, I'm still on the TMC roster, and I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think they allow ladders on the trucks or trailers. I heard this through the rumor mill, but I never heard any of the full-time drivers or instructors mention getting a ladder or having one in your possession. Besides, there's not really a whole lot of room for one, to be honest.
No ladders period. No need for one shippers provide them for you if need they are plat form ladders and have fall protection devices to wear.
Yeah, TMC doesn't allow you to carry ladders for some reason. Mostly space I think. It was discussed at one point.
Hey country I gave them all the paper work they asked for and more even got my medical record sent over to them. My school called them to ask why I was let go they told my school I said I wasn't going to get a letter because it would make me lose my disability benefits(What a bunch of bull****) anyway I am going to go with us xpress just because they have called me so much. I'm going to get my experience and try to get into flatbedding after that maybe maverick or pgt or boyd who knows I really don't think I'm going to try TMC anymore after my experience. Yea that lunch is on you have my number bro keep in touch I leave sunday for ohio.
Hey Chris, make sure you can duckwalk under a trailer without touching it with your back or head. You'll see what I'm talking about.... I went to USX before I jumped onboard with TMC. Their physicality test is fairly easy, but I'm fat, so I can't duckwalk worth a ****.
