I realized that after about the first 15 seconds in speaking with the training coordinator. I tried to get everything done but some things just didn't fall into place for me. I had just quit working with another flatbed company the week before. I dropped my glasses and scratched them up pretty bad making driving at night nearly impossible - that was the big thing I needed to get done. I got home sunday, slept most of monday and tuesday, then on wednesday started talking with TMC about coming on board with them. I only had 2 days to get new glasses. Mostly my fault, but a lesson learned about recruiters, and being prepared.
Let's get away from the bickering for a minute now, and let me say that I just met mossyoakman a little bit ago. He's a good dude. Kind of a pompous turd, but hey, TMC employee material. You know.... LOL. J/K, Nathan. Good to meet you, brother. It's gonna be a fun week.
Eh, I'm not bickering Catfish. Just giving a little explanation into my mistake and a heads up to future prospects, which I'm sure most everyone should know not to trust a recruiter.
i have got my pre-hire papers now to start school on april 4, cant wait to get into a rig been waiting to follow in my familys foot steps
I just finished the load securment portion of orientation. Unless you have been sleeping the whole time you will not have any problems.
LOL.... Had to throw it in there, Nate!! Back down in Gaston for another fun-filled (yeah, right) week of light duty work at TMC. A fun time shall be had by all. SheepDog's down here too. Gonna get him initiated into the interesting world of Trucker's Marine Corps/Turtles Moving Cargo/Two Men Cuddling/Two Mexicans Cooking/Too Much Chrome.... Yeah, there's a ton of 'em. Brang it.
