Congratulations Cat and all the other members at your orientation. Seems like that 2 weeks went awful fast. So what's next for you guys? Hitting the road with a trainer? If so...for how long?

Yes Congrats guys. I graduate from cdl school next Friday. Down to 2 companies. Tmc is number 1 and us xpress is number 2 tight race. Any insight on either company will help me please.

It all depends on if you want to work or if you just want to drive...I prefer working and driving so TMC is definitely the way to go...I was in the 1 week class but Carolinacatjack was in the 2 week and they work ya...driving and all, you will be a driver when you finish the 2 week classes..they are to the point and drive it home...all good if you want to be a professional truck driver...Good Luck

On the road, if that's what you wanna call it. I went all the way from Des Moines to Omaha in two days. We're sitting at the Pilot in Omaha and are leaving later on tonight, headed to Blair NE to drop off this load of slab concrete. After that, who knows.... I'll post later and keep y'all updated.

    Fratsit Thanks this.

Two days to get to Omaha? My wife even drives faster than that. Like I told you on the phone, when you get off I-29 to head over to Blair, you'll see where I park for hometime. If you guys would have gone there instead of Council Bluffs, I would have sprung for some chow.
Be safe out there driver.... Enjoy that hood!

Hey Catfish, did you leave orientation with a trainer or did you go back home in a rental car to meet your trainer?
