I feel like I need to tell y'all something, at least those of you who don't already know. I'm out of commission for 8-10, possibly 12, weeks. We got a load of shingles and tar paper from Frederick MD on Wednesday. While we were strapping it, I broke the first flatbedder's rule and got up on the trailer to adjust the straps. I lost my balance and fell off the deck, breaking my left foot. I'm back in SC now, thanks to my parents, who came and got me last night. I've already seen two orthopaedic specialists, who have both recommended surgery. As you can probably imagine, this SUCKS. I'm just hoping TMC doesn't decide to ****can me after this whole ordeal is over with. I'm just happy to be back home, but not under these circumstances. It's a real bummer, but I'm going to try to get through it as best as I can. I'll keep y'all updated on this thread as much as I can, now that I'm back home and have my computer handy and don't have to do everything on my phone. I hope to hear from y'all soon. Shiny side up, truck drivers.

Holy smokes.....are you kidding me? Seriously?
Man...I am soooo sorry to hear that. Who would have ever thought this would happen? I'm just kind of speechless (which is pretty rare).
Hang in there and get better my friend!

Yeah, stuff happens. I'll take a good ribbing for it and that's OK. Today I bent it back to respectful shape until the replacement arrives. At least I'm back on the road and not waiting for the new one to come.
