Hello White Dog,
Company plant? Well maybe. I did have another driver email me about TrueBlue's post here. I don't spend any time in "chat rooms" I volunteer as a Trucker Buddy for a second grade class and I am working on my college degree online when I get parked, so I don't have much free time for whiners, but when I read TrueBlue's post I felt that the reader's here deserved to hear the truth about TMC from a TMC driver, not a TMC driver wannabe.

So, would you tell your fellow "drivers" to stay out of the way with their gutless clean trucks.
Joetro Thanks this. -
truckinmike1984 Thanks this.

Hello LBZ,
Sorry to confuse you.
I started my OTR career with TMC in 2007, but I did also have a chauffeur's license from 1978 to 1983 before a CDL was required. I drove a school bus and dump trucks doing local driving for a short time, then did construction for many years.
I have the utmost respect for drivers and the work we all do. I have no patience for truck stop "experts" that spout off "facts" based on rumor and gossip. TrueBlue stated in his post that he never was issued a truck at TMC, but feels he has enough information to call my boss a thief and make accusations about all trainers and the training program based on his short tenure. What I found most curious is that it is now 2014 and he spent his two weeks in orientation and training in 2008. A lot has changed at every trucking company since 2008!
I hope maybe one day I can get that cushy job in the marketing department! Can I count on you for a reference letter? -
Tenfortyfive, I'd beg to differ...I worked for them and the level of incompentence in dispatch was astounding...
btw, they call tmc..the marjauana carrier..that was from when one of those bright tmc drivers got caught hauling a huge load under his tarps down here in Texas..
Also, they have ignorant people in dispatch who are Moronic enough to send a msg over Qualcomm instructing a driver who was over gross.. "Go around all dot scales" in Texas enroute to El Paso..not real bright... -
As for the driver hauling weed, that was me and it wasn't,,,,,okay,,just kidding...lol That was the driver, not the carrier.truckinmike1984 and milskired Thank this. -
Tenfortyfive... I have to be honest, I think you are doing more harm for TMC than good at this point.

I personally have no knowledge or experience with TMC, so I can't say they're good, bad, or indifferent. But if you're happy there, then God bless.
The issue I do have, however, is this. I will NOT allow current employees of your company who also happen to be our members to be harassed by your managers. I draw a VERY hard line on that sort of thing. Drivers have to eat enough crow on the job. No reason why they should have to do it here.baha, Lonesome, truckinmike1984 and 3 others Thank this. -
Not the forum, this us a great forum. I am talking more of how he is talking. Raising the flag of War rubs some, the wrong way. I just think that if I was going to be the face of my Company on a forum, that A LOT if not most drivers look at when researching a job, I would be a bit more diplomatic. It makes people that are reading about TMC kinda draw back a little and wonder if everyone is so quick to fight at TMC. I only say this because I myself am being "wooed" by a TMC recruiter and this is how I felt when reading his posts.
