Well that would begin to be a problem. -
and yes the black pete's have alot to do with me wanting to go to TMC. And the fact that they go from coast to coast with alot of different freight. I like the fact i won't go to the same place, on the same road over and over again. To me thats like a desk job. "Time to make the donuts" phrase comes to mind with that type of driving. I like the notion i can pick up coils, drop them off, pick up pipe, drop them, and pick up something else. Different loads to different places, thats the way to go.

Don't be making me more dissatisfied with my same crap different day job.
I do miss flat bed for the reasons you stated. Its more of a mind challenge. -
in din't mean to lump you into that. You have an advantage, you own your own truck and if you desire you can pick up and haul anything you want. I was refering to the company drivers in that aspect. No disrespect.

I was teasing..... hence the smilies. I didn't take any offense. -

Nero,
I have to agree. I'm in the middle of the Arabian Gulf right now and some of these complainers about home time ought to try it. I know I signed the dotted line, but sometimes it gets alittle old. I'll be out within a year and am also looking at TMC or Maverick. We'll see. Good luck. -

My job could be worse. I could not be home every night.
I don't want you to get the idea there aren't some good points to what I do. Its just that hauling the same product to the same delivery location all the time is a bit boring.
