ok ok, I can't wait to go to school, i hope trucking will be the greatest decision i ever made....I'm a long distance runner...you think I'll have time on my off time to run? I mean how does the driving rule work? 10-14 is what you can drive and 11 is what you sleep? does tmc care what hours you drive in terms of that DOT rule(10-14) like company policy is you can drive 10 hours a day all week if you want or 14 on and 10 on all week??
11 hours driving; 14 hours on duty; 10 hours sleeper berth; 70 hours max of driving & on duty for 8 days; hope this helps u
You will have time to run when you are on your 10 hour break. You wont have the down time that van drivers get though. When a van driver bumps a dock, its break time. When a flatbed bumps, its time to go to work. As for TMC, yes they care. You will log compliant and you will also do whatever they tell you to do. TMC is a very structured company. Alot of drivers have a problem with that. I think thats why most of their drivers are veterans. Vets are used to structure. Just my opinion. Good luck.
does anyone know if they will let a person fly if it is cheaper to fly vs ride a god #### bus? or if the bus ride is 100 and the flight is 140 if you can pay the difference and fly?
they will not pay up front will reimburse you for the price of what the bus fare would have been in your first check..
